Airmail Greetings Presents
In an earnest commitment to honor and celebrate our truly remarkable aviation heritage Airmail Greetings proudly steps up to produce quality community events that are designed to educate, enrich and inspire both young and old through making a tangible connection between history, humanity and hardware. By putting a real face to aviation's flesh and blood pioneers, dare-devils and dreamers we will forever have a faithful measuring stick to define imagination, courage, commitment, freedom, adventure and achievement. The hallmark of humanity's best. We proudly invite you and your family to join us in a historic celebration of the spirit of flight.
Women's Aviation 2009
We are elated to report: Mission Accomplished!

Our spirited celebration of women in flight was a triumphant success bringing the true face of our American heritage together properly with substance, integrity and lasting meaning. We do believe that Amelia Earhart, Pancho Barnes and each of the original 1929 Ninety-Nines would be overjoyed to know that their spirit lives on, and is still celebrated to this day. We proudly follow up to report that many of their contemporary counterparts were on hand with us and were respectfully recognized and honored personally by all attending our event. Truly, a bit of aviation history in the making.

With the enthusiastic involvement of many of our area aviators there to help share in the spirit of the event there were close to a dozen gorgeous aircraft with us on display throughout the day. Gracing the International Jet event hangar were four rare vintage birds, including the iconic Stearman and Waco there to properly bookend our stage, together with the classic P-51D Mustang, and an early 1930's German, Bucker Youngman biplane as the icing on the cake. This unique event was conceived and produced to be a tangible opportunity to bring our entire community together to share a special moment in time together with our noted speakers, guest film makers, and to give the 2009 women's air race teams a proper Denver send-off. You can bet we were there to cheer them on just days before their historic launch at Centennial's KAPA.

We gratefully thank the "above and beyond" efforts and leadership of so many individuals and groups here in the Rocky Mountain community that came together to help bring history, hardware and humanity together in a way seldom ever seen in this country. We look forward to seeing you at our next ambitious aviation event!

"Without the genuine recognition and celebration of our past, we effectively rob our future of all relevant context."
